We recommend a few evenings a week rather than every day. If you're new to acids or have sensitive skin, start with one or two evenings a week and build up gradually as your skin adjusts.
Is this suitable for sensitive or reactive skin?
Glycolic acid can be too strong for very reactive skin. If you're new to acids or have sensitive skin, patch test first and start with one or two evenings a week.
Can I use it around my eyes?
No. Avoid the delicate eye area and use it on the rest of the face and neck only.
Can I use this alongside other exfoliating acids?
We don't recommend using them on the same night. Use this toner and any other exfoliating acid on different evenings.
Why does this contain alcohol?
Alcohol is the last ingredient listed, so only a small amount is present. Small amounts like this are commonly used to carry plant extracts and support a formula's preservation.
Is this fragranced?
There is no Parfum in the ingredient list. The toner has a soft, floral scent of its own, with delicate notes of fresh rose.
Should I patch test before using a new product?
Yes. Before using any new product, apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm and wait 24 hours, especially if your skin is sensitive.
