What are phyto-exosomes?
Phyto-exosomes are tiny plant-derived vesicles. In this serum they carry apple extract. The serum is vegan-friendly.
Why is the serum pale pink?
The soft pink colour comes from iron oxides (CI 77491), a mineral pigment listed in the ingredients. It is not a fragrance or a dye that tints the skin.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is fragrance-free and made for all skin types. It does contain a small amount of lactic acid, so patch test first if your skin is sensitive or reactive.
Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol alternatives?
Yes. A simple way is vitamin C in the morning and a retinol alternative in the evening, with this serum after cleansing at either time, before moisturiser.
How often should I use it?
Once or twice a day, after cleansing and before moisturiser. Wear SPF in the morning.
Should I patch test before using a new product?
Yes. Before using any new product, apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm and wait 24 hours, especially if your skin is sensitive.
